Leon wisely made the choice to avert his gaze when the BOW struck. Even with his eyes closed, from the noise alone he could tell that whatever the creature was doing - it was brutal. The sound of gunshots, shattering concrete, shouting and yelling and screaming that was swiftly silenced by the snapping of bones and the tearing of flesh.
He considered looking up when he couldn't hear Anubeyis eating people anymore, but the distinct noise and flash of light associated with a flashbang made him glad that he decided to keep his eyes clenched shut for just a bit longer.
It was only when he couldn't hear the sound of the scuffle did he bother to look up. The BOW was nowhere in sight, and he could hear more men coming. Fortunately, given that the creature had broken the chains keeping him tethered to the wall, he was free to leave his cell.
Unfortunately, his hands were still bound in cuffs that he wouldn't be breaking anytime soon - and it was obvious that the BOW had its own problems to worry about. Regardless, he seized the opportunity presented to him - stepping out of the cell and picking up a fallen handgun from among the remnants of the bloodbath. Granted, it was difficult to hold the gun considering that his hands were bound together - he had to hold it in a sort of awkward one-hand grip - but it was better than being unarmed in a place like this.
It was right at that moment that the guard responsible for briefly blinding Anubeyis rounded the corner - and was promptly felled with a bullet straight between the eyes. Leon wasted no time in searching the body for a key; fortunately, he found one. The only problem was going to be actually using the key to unlock the cuffs considering that, again, his hands being bound together. But it was better than nothing.
Now ducking into cover, Leon waited for the rest of the armed guards to round the corner - and for the firefight that was the come. He couldn't wait to get the hell out of this place - that is, assuming his BOW 'companion' didn't decide to eat him once they got their freedom.
